![]() ‘There is no substitute to knowledge’ says Rigveda and the Bhaghavad Gita preaches ‘Let the noble thoughts come from everywhere’. So gaining knowledge is very essential for one’s upliftment in life. We at Vidya Vikasa Trust are trying (infact we are successful to a certain extent!) to give that KEY with which one can open the vast treasure of knowledge. Childhood is a crucial and special time in one’s life, and a child's rights for survival, health and education should be fulfilled. Education empowers human beings, strengthens society and is a key factor for attaining of a nation's development goals. | |
It
all began in 1977, a vision born out of the difficulties faced by the
founder trustees while they were students in Bangalore. Instead of
giving up in despair and frustration, they decided to fight the
difficulties on behalf of the future generations. "VIDYA VIKASA", blessed by His Excellency, the then Governor of
Karnataka Sri. A.N.Banerji vide Letter DT: 3rd August 1984, had blessed
the Institution.
On 6th January 2002, the KENDRA celebrated its silver Jubilee of its existence & the alumni who met during the celebrations registered "Vidya Vikasa" as a public charitable trust– a Non-Commercialized educational centre.
